Well Dunn Business Car (Scheme 7260) — introduction & risk appetite

Marked restricted as a default judgment call, not a confirmed classification: this is a Delegated Authority Underwriting Guide containing commission rates and coverholder-specific terms, more sensitive than a public-facing appetite guide. Confirm the right visibility tier with the domain owner.

Delegated Authority Underwriting Guide for Well Dunn Insurance Broker, underwritten by ERS. Applies only to Business Car — Scheme 7260. Not authorised to accept business through introducers or sub-agents (wholesale business).

Where a risk falls outside the criteria in this guide, decline. Changes to the guide or appetite extensions must go through ERS Underwriting.

Portfolio profitability requirements (aggregate level): net average premium per vehicle minimum £850 excluding IPT; accident year loss ratio not to exceed 58% (excluding losses over £100k); overall claims frequency not to exceed 14%.

Where a vehicle is kept overnight at a different location to the business address (e.g. main user's home address), the premium must be based on the highest rating area.

There is no functioning facility to submit Business Car policies via OGI, so risks cannot be bound under this scheme on EDI.
